Founded in 2001 by Building Designer and Builder Alex Stritt, the company has earned a distinguished reputation for its signature classic coastal architecture and uncompromising attention to detail. With over 25 years of experience in high-end residential design and construction, Alex brings unparalleled technical expertise and an unwavering commitment to craftsmanship.
The creative studio is led by Interior Designer Janette Stritt, whose refined aesthetic and personalised approach define the interiors of every project. Professionally trained at the Design Centre Enmore, Janette curates elegant, relaxed spaces that balance sophistication with comfort, delivering interiors that feel both timeless and effortlessly liveable.
Inspired by a traditional coastal aesthetic, each Stritt Design and Construction home is individually crafted using a harmonious blend of classic timber detailing, custom joinery, and carefully selected finishes. Every element is thoughtfully designed to reflect the unique character of the site and the lifestyle of its owners.

From initial concept through to completion, we manage every aspect of each stage - including design development, council DA submissions, approvals, and build execution. With a comprehensive understanding of local planning regulations and requirements, we specialise in navigating the approval process particularly within Sydney’s Mosman, Northern Beaches and North Shore areas.
